When abroad what ‘home foods’ do you miss the most?
A recent survey here in Ireland (and I have NO NEED to make this up) had the top 4 as Fish and Chips, Bacon and Cabbage and… wait for it… lasagne and spagetti bolognaise!!! Please!!!???. As for me, apart from my own cooking I miss soda bread and mashed potatoes, yum
I am an american ( From Chicago) , living in Barcelona.. Even though i enjoy the food here ( its great).. I do miss my Chicago pizza, my Chicago Hotdogs, My Cheesecake. Its ard to find good pizza here or let alone hotdogs .. but oh well, i chose to live here and I am enjoying it..
