What happened to the fish in the great flood of the Bible?
Most Christians say “Duh! They’re fish! They didn’t NEED to be on the Ark!”…..not so fast there….
The water that covered the earth would either have to be saline (salty), or not.
Either way, every single species of saltwater or freshwater fish would have perished, depending on what the water was like. There’s a very fine line in which thousands of species of fish can survive salinity levels.
How do you explain the existence of both saltwater AND freshwater fish today?
Many of them dismiss such a quandary by stating that God guided them to form into freshwater fish or saltwater fish, depending on which would have died or not. They say only one type existed.
So basically, the believe in evolution, but not just biological evolution, an evolution so astoundingly radical that it is as great a leap of faith as the flood.
