tent camping louisiana
Does anyone know anywhere I can (tented camp) on the beach in Alabama, Mississippi or west of Florida?
Hi, My boyfriend and I are from New Orleans. We do not want to travel too far from Louisiana, but who also want a few days to enjoy the beautiful spring vacation. Unfortunately, because we're both students, we're on a budget, so we decided to pack the tent and camp! Any advice is appreciated!
I do not know about Alabama and Mississippi, Florida, but it is generally not possible to camp on the beach. However, here in Key West, many people do not sleep on the beach during the night, even though technically it is not permissible. You'll probably have to seek a quiet place where you could not be bothered. If your budget can handle, the state parks do tent, and the prices are very reasonable. Many of them have beautiful beaches.
